Methodology

Research Methodology is the systematic, theoretical analysis of the methods applied to a field of research. Typically, it encompasses concepts such as paradigm, theoretical model, phases and quantitative or qualitative techniques.

Research methodology performs systematic solving of the problems in the research, along with the logic behind them. Researchers need to know the relevant methods or techniques and the purpose of the relevant methods and understand the assumptions underlying various techniques. The researchers also need to know the criteria to decide the certain techniques and procedures applicable to the problems.

Research methodology deals with the logic behind the research methods and explains the usage of a particular method or technique, so that the research results can be evaluated either by the researcher or by others. It also explains the purpose of the research study, way to define the research problem, the formulation process of the hypothesis, methods adopted for collecting data and usage of particular techniques for analyzing data concerning a research problem or study..
